E-Spring Couplet & Music Box Kit

This e-spring couplet (music box) is an e-textile construction kit designed for children ages 9 to 12 who are Chinese Language speakers or learners. Nowadays, people seldom create or write Spring couplets during Chinese New Year themselves any more because it is time consuming. Thus, I come up with this tech + traditional culture project to bridge the two ideas. 🧧 In additional to learning some circuitry and sewing skills, I also hope my users can see the beauty of Chinese character from different angles as well as strengthen their cultural identity.
