Mosaic

Inspired by the Spanish style tiles and mosaic art used in Latin American and Hispanic countries, this kit will permit the user to add LEDs, pushbuttons, or switches to their piece. Mosaic allows students to create interactive art, inspired by the ones they see every day. .  The overall aim of the kit is to create a culturally relevant educational mosaic kit for children to make patterns and explore circuits. They will also learn basic knowledge of circuits while creating a mosaic. For instance, understand the circular nature of circuits, how to build a circuit in parallel, or comprehend the logic of a switch.  While also learning about the mosaics culture, apply math concepts, in particular, related to geometry, and improve their spatial sense.
