Dancing Robot

Dancing Robot, is a GoGo Board constructionist toy that combines a motor-driven cardboard robot and the GoGo Code programming environment. The Dancing Robot allows users to enhance their programming skills and arithmetic abilities while enjoying the performance of the robot with their choreography. Since the movements of this motor-driven robot do not rely on expert knowledge of dance and programming, it encourages non-professional dancers and coders to experience the robot choreography process. Users need to assign different dance movements, such as “raising the left hand” and “raising the right leg,” in several beats in the coding environment. It enables them to learn how to deal with procedures and variables in the programming environments, and how to calculate the time of each movement to match the time of beats.
